Structure forgée contenant un bloc fait de la correspondance de la famille G. trempé dans de la cire et suspendu au-dessus d’une lampe à pétrole. La flamme ramène les souvenirs à la vie, en l’alimentant par les gouttes de cire, jusqu’à ce que les lettres prennent feu.
Cette correspondance contient l’histoire d’amour d’un “bon à rien”, J., parachutiste, et de celle qui est devenue sa femme, T.
Structure en verre, cire, mèches et pavés en granit. La structure s’est brissée pendant l’exposition.
Quand la cire fond, le passé perd son avenir.
Deux boites en bois contenant le journal intime d’une mère à son fils. Pour son fils, D.
Il s’agit du journal comportemental d’un enfant écrit par sa mère qui le voit changer physiquement et moralement, et qui le juge tout en essayant de le comprendre.

EN Kleio (in ancient Greek Κλειώ / Kleiô) is the Muse of History, who sings the past of men and cities.
Thanatos (in ancient Greek Θάνατος / Thánatos) is the personification of Death. Past of others, preserved, collected, picked up in the street, at antique shops, at flea markets – guardians of memory.
* The name of this project comes from the word "cryothanatology," mentioned by Roland Barthes during his lecture at the Collège de France in 1978; today cryothanatology has become a scientific discipline, cryogenics.
FR Kleio (en grec ancien Κλειώ / Kleiô) est la Muse de l’Histoire, qui chante le passé des hommes et des cités.
Thanatos (en grec ancien Θάνατος / Thánatos) est la personnification de la Mort.
Passé des autres, conservé, collectionné, ramassé dans la rue, chez des antiquaires, aux marchés aux puces – gardiens de la mémoire.
Passé, figé dans un bloc de cire ou dans une boite en verre comme dans un bloc de glace.

Forged structure containing a block made of the correspondence of the G. family, dipped in wax and suspended above an oil lamp. The flame brings memories to life, feeding it with droplets of wax, until the letters catch fire.

KLEIOTHANATOLOGIE II,
Glass structure, wax, wicks, and granite cobblestones. The structure broke during the exhibition.

Two wooden boxes containing the diary of a mother to her son. For her son, D.
This is the behavioral journal of a child written by his mother, who observes him changing physically and morally, judging him while trying to understand him.
